sunday's excite me. i anticipate thursday's. i long for my old wednesday's. the other days of the week do just the same for me. everyday holds my adoration because everyday is different, unknown and involves those i call family, both by blood and by the Blood.
sunday morning i learn and worship among the Body; following, i eat lunch with my Family and then dive into theological conversations in the membership class. six o'clock is here and i am in the same sanctuary with the same people, once again. and i'm thankful.
thursday evening sneaks up, i head to bible study and find myself in the same godly company. thanks Father. You are so good.
so, this is just what i am learning: when sanctification becomes corporate, God is glorified and we continue to conform to his Son. we are primarily saved unto the Lord, yes; but, secondly, we are saved unto the Body of Christ, as my pastor emphasizes.
believers who are raw; believers who accept total depravity; believers who cling to Christ's Work because they know their need? nothing can compare, friends. and when we all come together acknowledging our imperfections and how Christ covers them with His deep crimson Blood, it's beautiful. because from that flows forgiveness, encouragement, perseverance.
there is such a thing as real fellowship, but it will not come naturally, it's a choice. let's choose to love sacrificially, no matter the cost, because Jesus already paid the ultimate price.
I always love reading your blog and looking at your incredible photography. So thankful we are able to grow in Christ together. Love you friend!
