"It's been a while." Classic excuse, but trust me when I say that, because I have a good reason for prolonging blogging lately.
Things have been crazy since the last time I posted. School was nearing the end, my usual commitments were still in play, and graduation was approaching with a pep in its step. The day after I walked on the stage to receive my diploma, the family, Sullivan, and I were piled in the car en route to North Carolina! See where I'm going with this? We arrived back home late friday night and since then, I have stayed busy with the company of friends. Friends that are incredible.
Needless to say, blogging has not been in the picture this past month and I have missed it.
So, I come to my computer now, sitting in my favorite coffee shop in town, with a mind FULL of things I could type out. However, if I did so you would become bored, I would become lost, and my computer would die.
This is why I will only tell you things coming up this week:
I leave for London on friday (excuse me). I really cannot believe it myself. All of the planning, preparing, training, fundraising, and excitement can all be put into action THIS FRIDAY. Ahhhhhh!
I am beyond excited to meet my fellow friends and teammates this friday morning at 5am to be on our way to England. God has huge things in store starting in 3 days. If you ask me, the thing I am most excited about would be the experiences ahead. New experiences, challenging experiences, and cultural experiences. The thought of the unknown is thrilling to me, especially because God has already planned my two weeks in London and has strategically placed each upcoming experience in my life for a perfect reason. The thought is exciting me as I type!
I would ask that you continue to pray for us while we are traveling there and back, walking the streets of Ealing, and talking amongst the fellow England-er's there. Prayer is the most powerful thing when used by a righteous man (James 5:16). Words will never do my gratitude - for every ounce of support given - justice. I love you all and cannot even wait to share what takes place this month.
Trusting in my God,
Perrin
