Much needed weekend!

Man oh man was this weekend dreamy or what! It all started began with friday night shenanigans: baseball game, waffle house and sleep over with my bests <3
Yay Saints! We're the blue. We rock. I love that school so much and every one in it.
It was unexpectedly chilly. I of course was in shorts; thanks Bec for bringing me a quilt to snuggle with!
You know those friends that you just love to be around for hours on end because they're so random and kind? That's these girls. Lav lavvv <333
My girl Shayles
BritBrit did so well!
Unfortunately, I was so ravenous and pumped about our trip to Waffle House after, that I didn't even take pictures there. I regret it, yeah. Although, it was THE BEST TIME spent with awesome people! We laughed and laughed and laughed, ate waffles, apparently annoyed our waitress and enjoyed each others company. After that, Shayles and I headed to Bec's for a night of movie watching and junk food inhalation - we're really good at both things.
The following morning, we took it really easy: slept in, ate yummy pancakes cooked by Bec's mom (you ROCK Mrs. Stephanie!) then hopped in the car to start our day. Our pretty, pretty day. A thrift shop trip and local coffee shop pit stop slowly guided us downtown!

Every year, my little town hosts a huge festival, called the Arts and Crafts Festival, to sort of act as the kick starter to spring. It has always been a massive event that always brings in soooo many tourists. This year's estimate was 350,000 throughout the entire weekend; that number and the size of Fairhope isn't the best combination, but it's always a blast.
The whole town is blocked off with barricades, but this street is solely for food vendors - my smelling senses are never so overwhelmed and confused than when I walk this street.
A bit of antique-ing is good for the soul

Becca and I worked up an appetite, trying to avoid being run over by tourists; so, a little hummus and pita with some guitar strums did us well.
Ran into my homeboizz. We chatted' it up
I kind of let loose and stuck my camera in my bag for the day at this point. The day ended with eno-ing at the bay and a surprise dinner with my parents at a Mexican restaurant! Followed by a trip to redbox for Taken 2, which we all watched together. I'll stop there, because if I talk about sunday I may just not stop :) I love weekends, my town and friends.
