BOHO BRUNCH!

On June 18, at 6 in the evening, my sister and best friend, Madi, married Sullivan. After an 18-month engagement, this day was definitely necessary; but for me, it was extra special because I was happy to be Mads' maid of honor. Of course, the role was just as I thought it'd be -- crazy, busy, and so fun. One thing I knew my sister really wanted was some sort of bohemian inspired party for her and her bridesmaids, so I ran with the idea. I'm the type of person to think up a vision that I think is perfect, but when I actually go to make it happen it's just out of reach... Anyone? THANKFULLY, I feel like I was finally able to make my vision become a reality, and the boho brunch was a hit.

Jazzy music in the background and the big sliding door that let a summer's breeze in the room made the ambiance that much more perfect, minus the couple of bridesmaids that were experiencing too much of an airport or stuck at work. Shoutout to my sisters, Hayley and Kari, for helping me get everything setup the night before! And Target, for the cute array of pillows, always Target.
Sometimes it's hard to decide what is "brunch food," so if you're curious...
Featured food: Mimosas, coffee punch, donut hole kabobs, yogurt bar, mini chicken + waffle sliders, and bagels.

I couldn't have asked for a better brunch for my sister, the new Mrs. Brady! XOXO

NASHVILLE, TN

Some people have a rare talent like my sister, Hayley... She always knows the best gift to give somebody. You know what I'm talking about -- These people cannot be beaten. Back in December, Hayles gave my sister, Madi, and I a joint Christmas present: A weekend trip to Nashville! We were finally able to indulge back in April, and seeing as Mads and I had somehow never made it to this city before, it was perfect.

Considering our reservation to stay at Hotel Preston was given away last minute, we hit up the nearest Comfort Suites for the weekend -- Preston's lobby was super nice though haha! It has my recommendation.
Offff course, Nashville is known for its food, so we did our best to navigate through the weekend with our noses haha! Our top favorite tastes: Crema, Flipside, Loveless Cafe, and Sky Blue!
We also randomly went to see The Lighthouse and the Whaler open up for Run River North in concert, which was a total blast. It's so fun to go new places, even it's just a state over!

Us sisters keep mentioning how fun this trip was, so I'm hopeful that we'll make a trip back to Nashville soon! I can't lie, Nashville has some GOOD vibes going on.
