BANANA PANCAKES

over the weekend, i asked a good friend to crash at my house..there wasn't any hesitation. i had been craving pancakes for weeks prior to her coming, so i suggested making a fruit pancake dinner! next thing i know, we had jumped in my jeep, headed for the grocery store. once we picked up a few things, it didn't take us long to make a total mess back at home. we mixed that batter and fired up the cooker in no time!

we couldn't resist the chocolate chips either -- fruit and chocolate, recommended combination.

on another note, i'm not the only one who needs one round of pancake-flipping to knock the rust off, am i? no fear, it was brought under control by the last one.

like i stated beforehand, i was craving pancakes; but not just any pancake, banana pancakes. now before you ask, i totally played jack johnson (his new album is siiiiick!).

and before you second guess our nature, cups of jo were made and sipped. overall, it was such an easygoing night of eating, sipping, talking and late night walking. nights like these make me excited to call her my roommate come august!
