Oh how I love the sweet, rare time I get to blog! At least it seems that way these days...
This week's load is heavy with school, graduation invitations need to be addressed and sent out, meanwhile spring formal is this saturday! All the while work is still in the picture. Even in the midst of my busy schedule I cannot resist time with my Lord. I am so thankful for that precious time; time that builds me, encourages me, comforts me, relieves me. For without that, I would be a frazzled mess, with hair going in every direction.
It is because of my relationship with God that I can cry out three simple words, "Jesus save me!" and all cares vanish instantaneously.
Even when I woke up on monday morning feeling overwhelmed with homework and such (because I refuse to do it on the weekend), God provided a letter.
Last week, I sent out round 2 of support letters because I still needed $607 to be 100% there financially. Oddly enough, yesterday I felt the need to grab the mail from the box (this never happens ok). Wedged in between magazines and gross bills was a letter from our neighbors down the street. I was so excited to see something with my name on it (because mailing letters is really a lost art these days), I excitedly opened it to find a check for $150. "Lordddd!!" I thought. This was so encouraging to receive, boosting my gloomy monday spirit.
I feel the love of my Father constantly. It's so cool though to feel and experience it indirectly, through His people. That seems to be happening all too often lately and I cannot express my gratitude enough. Especially through text; I wish I could throw a mini party for every dollar given.
Sweet, sweet friends, thank you for getting me down to $457. YOU are who is making this opportunity seem all to real. YOU are getting me to London. YOU are extending the Kingdom of God with me.
Thank you Father for your provision and love for me even when I feel like I'm drowning.
