New Beginnings.

It's been FAR too long.
First off I just want to thank whoever this is who's reading it thank you for stopping by!! I'll be blogging much much more because I want to be able to look back on all the wonders God will perform between now and the day I leave for LONDON, ENGLAND. Yes, London. I feel so incredibly blessed, ecstatic, and anxious to be going on this trip and cannot WAIT to see what will happen in the months to come. So like I said I will be heading to London this summer with a group of awesome, awesome people from my church. Basically, we will be there for 3 weeks (May 31-June 21), however not all of us will be there ALL three of those weeks. There's 3 separate teams - the first will be there a week, the second team will be there the last two weeks, and the third team will be there all three weeks. Guys this is CRAZY good news!! I can't even begin to explain how excited the thought of this trip makes me! When I start to think about it... Yeah. (!!!!)
There is a large sum of money we have to come up with to go : $34,000. I have so much faith in knowing we can earn every bit of that. It'll take you guys' efforts too though! And we will appreciate every ounce of energy given and every penny received. So far we've done two fundraisers (bake sale and yard sale) which has brought in around $2500. What a great start for us!! We are so thankful for every dollar of that. The next fundraiser we have is our valentines day sale - it'll be this Sunday in the narthex. We will have tables covered in bracelets, bath salts, candies and more for people to buy for their valentine and we would LOVE to chat with any one of you about this trip during that time! I hope to see all of your smiling faces this Sunday as we are manning those tables :]
Well, that was the first post about London and there will be MANY more to keep you up to date. This will also serve as a way for me to recognize and show gratitude to all the things God has done and will be doing for this missions trip!
